This thing took me forever... I was trying to figure out ZBrush and it seemed like every 5 minutes I had to figure something new out about it. Ridiculous. I STILL didn't learn something I really wanted to figure out. The above image is obvioulsy touched up in Photoshop. Mostly in the hair and along the contour of the model to remove pixellation. Anyway, I modelled it in Maya, rigged it, posed it, Pulled in Zbrush, tweaked the model, Painted in Zbrush. I'm unhappy with my coloring AND rigging of the horse part, but I'm VERY pleased with how much I learned from this model overall.

Doesn't get much nerdier than a Centaur... that's for sure.

affordable swedish crap

Wow, I learned lighting is fun today! This is pretty much the kitchen I want when I have money one day (you know.. from the retail/waitress job I will inevitably have in the very near future).

Sketches I did at Blizzcon

Blizzcon and Disneyland was so fun! Disney was friggin packed though. I thought we were all suppose to be suffering from this horrible economy...

Anyway, I'm just posting some sketches I did while sitting and listening to Q&A at Blizzcon. I spoke to a few of their artists, it's actually embarrassing telling them I work as an artist at a company. I'll never rock at art like these guys did. I'm such a hack. But they were all very nice. One of the artists even told me he was rejected 3 times before he got a job there. Now that's persistence!
